It’s quite a challenge and hassle, getting Civil Registry Documents like a copy of your PSA birth certificate during this pandemic. The commute, waiting in long lines and worse is the risk of becoming exposed to Covid.
Fortunately, thru PSA Helpline, copies of birth certificates, cenomar, marriage certificates and death certificates can now be requested and processed online, and delivered at your doorsteps.
Ordering
You may place your order on the PSA Helpline website and fill out necessary information required. For birth certificate, marriage certificate and cenomar, you can order for yourself, your child or your parents. On the other hand, for a death certificate, you can order for your spouse and your parents only.
Also, processing of documents will vary on the availability of the records. New born, newlywed and recent passing is not yet available in PSA records.
- 1 – 2 months posting period for place of birth/marriage/death within Metro Manila, based on the transmittal date
- 2 – 3 months posting period for provincial place of event, based on the transmittal date

For payment options, they accept credit card, bancnet, Gcash, Paymaya, 711, Dragon Pay and others. You may see all their payment partners on the website.
Delivery
Civil Registry Documents will be delivered for Metro Manila areas within 3-4 working days. In provincial areas, it will take 3-8 working days for the delivery. There might be delays due to restrictions during this time of Pandemic. As of now, delivering outside the country is not yet available.
Prepare a government issued ID to be presented to the courier on delivery. It’s also important that the one who requested the documents will personally receive it for security purposes. If in case the requester is not available, he or she can call PSA or inform thru email.
It is good to know that there is a servcice like this where you can get important documents delivered straight to your door

What a useful service! In my home country it would take month, a lot of waiting and plenty of frustration to be able to get the documents you need. A service like this would be much appreciated.
