Fixing Your Problem Areas

No matter how confident we are, we all have those one or two
parts of our body that we just aren’t happy with. Although we should
concentrate more on our character than the way we look, and although it’s those
little flaws that make us more interesting, there is nothing wrong with wanting
to improve what we can to look our best.

With that in mind, here are some tips
to help you fix some of the most  common
problem areas:
Dark Circles and Puffy Eyes
Dark circles and puffy eyes can be a real problem because
they are so visible and they can be quite tough to hide. If you find it hard to
get a good night’s sleep and it shows in your face, there are a few things you
can try.
Applying cucumbers to the affected area is a great way to
add moisture to the area and reduce puffiness, and applying caffeine will
stimulate circulation to the area, lightening dark circles significantly. Then,
it’s just a case of adding a good concealer to the area before you apply your
makeup.
Discolored Teeth

Teeth that are white and bright make us look healthy, and
they give us more confidence to smile and really let our beauty shine through,
but there are some many things that can cause teeth to become stained or
discolored that it can be hard to keep our teeth looking their best.
If your teeth aren’t quite as white as they could be, you
have a number of options. You could see a professional teeth whitening expert
to have them sorted out, you could start brushing with a baking soda-based
toothpaste, or you could try home whitening kits, depending on your budget and
personal preferences.
Whatever you do to improve the appearance of your teeth, you
should take steps to stop them being discolored in the first place by giving up
smoking, avoiding sugary sodas and brushing and flossing more carefully,
especially after drinking tea and coffee or other foods and drinks that cause
staining.
Acne
Having acne can really zap your confidence and make you feel
less beautiful than you actually are, but there are things you can do to
improve your skin and appear more radiant than ever.
First of all, cut as much sugar out of your diet as
possible, as the sweet stuff is known to cause breakouts. Next, make sure that
you cleanse, tone and moisturize daily, preferably using a dry oil cleanser,
and finally, up your fruit and vegetable intake. If, after doing these things,
you still have a problem, it might be worth seeing your doctor to discuss
possible medical solutions to the problem.
Wrinkles
We can’t avoid the aging process completely, but we most
certainly can age better. Eating more good fats, for example, is a great way to
feed the skin from the inside out, while applying lemon juice and coconut oil
to the face are great natural wrinkle-busters. If you want something more
professional, face creams featuring collagen and vitamin E will help to keep
your skin plump and supple.
