I attended Hawkers Night Bazaar at Bluewave Marquinton Marikina last October 26, 2012. Ms. Marjorie Almenario owner of Pepper n Mint perfume was the one who invited me to come over and have a taste of their unique home made foods at their stall named “Turo-turo Espesyal”
Me (wearing red top) with the rest of the girls (Ms. Marj wearing blue colored top).
What they have to offer?
MAJA ni MAMA
This is the SAUCE for LUMPIANG FRESH!
SAUCE for TINOKNENENG
Now let me take a bite of MAJA ni MAMA
(specially made by Ms. Marj mother)
Thumbs up for this MAJA ni MAMA! For only PHP30
Now it’s time to taste this TINOKNENENG
I’m pretty curious how does it taste because according to Ms. Marj this was coated by bread crumbs instead of the usual cornstarch.
3pcs for PHP25 only
Are you thinking the same way as I am with the sauce?
I think it taste like gravy for dipping fried chicken. Hmmm..
Now I am thinking if it will blend with their so called TINOKNENENG??
Get this for only PHP50
Since I love MAJA ni MAMA I did buy this whole MAJA for only PHP100 and bring this home for my mom to taste and as expected she also love it!
Tinokneneng seems like tempura balls, it is boiled quail egg with cheese inside. If I am not mistaken .. then coated with bread crumbs and dip in a gravy sauce 🙂 So if you are from Marikina or just wanna drop by the Bazaar, I am encouraging you to visit TURO-TURO Espesyal stall and taste for yourself their home made delicacies!
The person behind these delicious food is Ms. Marjorie’s mom (the one wearing pink top)
The Bazaar is located near KFC parking lot Bluewave Marquinton Branch.
